The hidden figuration

Art, a spiritual move in emotions to be manifested within the conglomerate of ideas and creation.

Olivia Appelius being somebody of complex and sophisticated personality is surfing this “vague”, the “rêve de jeunesse” in her work, whether it is music, dance, or fine art as such, as painting. She is talking with a big ease, telling sublime narratives, having a dance with the canvas, aware of identity, authentic, starts tuning, finally intoning chords, ”en goût des sens.”

She is about to find a balance in between ambiguity and ubiquity in “la manière de beauté”; facing sediments and sentiments, following dynamics in lyrical, even elegiac approach. Olivia Appelius unconcerned dives into subjects in highest concentration, into unique essence. She is pointing out, setting her personal “ductus”, initiates, intimates, draws her own gesture, texture, into form, ideography, a new gestalt, entity, bodies of work perhaps.

Figuration as an abstract composition.
